Our trip to Seaside...

We were able to go on a week long family vacation to Seaside, OR. in August with Tim's family. He has 7 siblings and they haven't ALL been together at one time in about 5 years, or so. This was fun to be able to see them all and spend time together having fun! I had never been to Seaside and ended up having a blast with my hubby and kiddos! Tim's family... poor little Haley was sleeping, so she isn't in the photo... next time!!

There is a main street in Seaside that has lots of fun shops/stores, restraunts, arcades and rides and we spent a few days having fun there. The boys loved going on the bumper cars... it was pretty fun to watch them too!

Playing in the arcade. Maybe it's a guy thing, but I do not like arcade games... but my boys sure loved them!

Zackary running along the beach one evening. It was actually pretty warm there most days. And that is saying something when you are talking about the Oregon Coast. The coast is never warm, but it was in the upper 80's most of the time, and sunny! That I liked. It obviously got much cooler in the evenings, so that is when we would start the campfire on the beach and bring out the sweatshirts!!

The boys each had some money to spend however they wanted, so they all bought one of these boards at one of the shops downtown. They were only $12 and well worth it! Zackary spent a few hours out in the ocean on his board. He even found a live crab walking around his feet!! That is when he called it quits! Hahaha...

Building sand castles and digging holes is always fun on the beach. The boys dug a huge hole for us to build a fire in that night and roast hot dogs!!

Ean spent most of his time at the beach running from the waves. He was having a blast doing that, that when it came time to leave, we had to chase him down. Speaking of chasing... Ean had an adventure. He was chased by a dog at the beach. The owners felt so bad that their dog had scared Ean as bad as it did. Ean has always been a little scared of dogs and this didn't help. He was fine though... poor guy.

Jeremy showing off his board. He loved that it had a huge shark on it!

Jeremy and Robin

Daddy helping Jeremy burry his legs in the sand... the wet sand was pretty squishy and the boys thought it was pretty funny to sink in the 'quick sand'... I think Landon liked being as tall as his big brother for a bit!

Landon running and playing with his Uncle Andy

Landon and Katie

There was a little mall downtown that was called the Carousell Mall... the boys had fun on the ride there... all except for Zackary. He is too old for this kind of ride now he says... He hung out with me and Sabreena.

Landon had a blast playing catch with Uncle Pete.

Sabreena turned 3 months old while on our trip. Cannot believe how fast she is growing!! She is just so stink'n adorable!!!

There was also a little train downtown and the kids had so much fun on that...

Thanks for a great vacation!!! We will definately go back!!

Fort Clatsop

Fort Clatsop was pretty fun. We really enjoyed learning about Lewis & Clark. We watched a movie about their trek to the west coast and who they met along the way. Then we took a little hike to where their canoe landing was. Very neat to see.

This is a statue of Lewis and Clark.

Ean and Uncle Pete inside one of the rooms in the fort.

Jeremy in Lewis and Clark's room in the fort. See their uniforms hanging on the back wall?

Landon just being adorable!!

These are some of the bunks they slept in... none of the beds were very big. Zackary was longer then they were. All in all, a very fun day!!

Fort Stevens

We had a great time here at Fort Stevens... we love all of the history behind it. Seeing all of the old World War 1 and 2 stuff was pretty amazing. There was a little museum there also and it had some items from the Civil War... I love learning about the Civil War and Tim loves learnigng about WW2. Zackary is pretty into history also, so this was a fun day for all of us! The boys had a blast going through the old cement rooms and seeing what things once were like. The guns were pretty amazing too. What little boy wouldn't want to see those!!

Here they are atop one of the forts... they are pretty cool. Camoflauged by the ground around them... they are open on one side and under ground on the other, as to not be seen by the enemy. This huge round hole is where a huge gun/cannon was placed. Pretty cool stuff!

My grandpa told me that this was a WW2 jeep. The boys thought this was pretty awesome!

Ean liked all of these cool doors, although many of them didn't open anymore. Not for visitors at least. The ones that were open, we explored...

Zackary and Ean atop a lookout tower. Can you see on the backside of the fort here that the ground comes right up to the top... On the ground behind the fort, they have reenactments of wars past. I would like to see that someday.

These old doors are just so cool looking... this one is to the "Tool Room."

Another pretty cool weapon... Seriously, these are some huge guns!

Running around in front of the fort. This place was huge!!

Here is one of the guns/cannons inside that circular hole from an earlier photo.

Yet another large gun/cannon. This one actually faces the ocean and the lookout tower faces the ocean too. Had to keep safe from enemy ships!

This is a smaller cannon just outside the museum.
We had a blast here and there was so much more to see that we will have to make another trip here to see it all!!

Jeremy's Miracle...

Jeremy had been praying... actually praying... everyday for a little sister. We thought we were good with our 4 kiddos, then one day found out we were expecting #5!! We were excited, surprised, anxious... you name it! Jeremy was overjoyed and exclaimed, "My sister is finally coming!" We told him that we still wouldn't know for a few months if it was going to be a boy or a girl, but he just "knew" it.
The day I had my ultrasound, we found out it was going to be a girl. I looked at the picture and with one swipe, I could see it was indeed a girl. We were SHOCKED! to say the least. We went home that night and told the boys they were going to have a sister... Jeremy knew it!! Needless to say, he LOVES her!!

Is this not the SWEETEST THING EVER!!!

Ean's Baptism

My little boy was baptized back in March. I am SO proud of him. We have been waiting to see if and when this day would come... and SO happy it came!! He is such a good boy, even with his everyday struggles. I know he will do great things!! Congradulations Ean!!!

My beautiful daughter...

I asked my cousin if she would take some pictures of my baby before she gets too big... Here are a few that I love...

She is such a good baby. She wakes up only once or twice a night to eat and goes right back to sleep... she will hang out and just be content while I do chores or something... She is ok to let her brothers hold/kiss/hug/snuggle her... She Loves to cuddle which is awesome... she has been smiling so much in her sleep, I LOVE this... She doesn't mind riding in the car... she loves being carried in the carrier... I love when she snuggles herself on my chest/neck... she has the most perfect lips... she is weighing 8lb 4 oz now and 22" long... still wearing newborn clothes... her hair is really lightening up... I can't fit her tiny feet into shoes yet, can't wait for that day... she is just SO perfect!! I love it!!
