Precious little boy of mine...

Landon likes to color. He likes crayons, pencils, markers... whatever. He just really likes to color. While I was in the shower one morning, NOT taking my time either, I noticed how quiet it was. When I came out of my bedroom, this is what I found... good thing I cleaned my floors the day before!!!

Don't you just love the face he is making here... What a little STINKER!!

Thankfully I buy washable markers!! I don't understand, why does he EAT them? They can't taste good. And it always seems to be the dark colors like green, blue, black and purple. Not yellow or gray. I washed the shirt over and over with spray and wash and it still didn't come out completely. His hands and face were a pale shade of green for a couple of days too. I was glad the next day wasn't Sunday. I was also very glad that I had taken his pictures the day before!! Usually stuff like this happens the day before you are going to get their pictures done. A blessing in disguise, I guess!!

Soccer Season has begun...

Soccer season has begun and Zackary was totally excited for it!! He played his first season last fall on the U8 team and loved it. His coach last season was his baseball coach that spring and he said that Zackary does better in soccer. I agree a little. But he likes both, so we do both. A spring sport and a fall sport. We need to keep him busy anyway. This year he is on the U10 boys team and he has friends on that team, so that is nice. He is so cute to watch. He always has a smile on his face, even when it is beat red from the heat. He gets that from me!

His team is the Orange Hornets!!

That is Zackary in the center with the ball...

He is so much more aggressive this year. It is so much fun to watch him play. He is really growing and learning and I love it!! My boys are the BEST!!!

Our little Soccer star...

This is Jeremy's first season playing soccer. He is on the blue lizards! Strange name for a soccer team I think, but whatever. The kids got to choose the name so go figure. He has had only two soccer games and is loving it. He is so excited to get out there and play. He is also a very gracious player. If a girl has the ball, whether she's on his team or not, he will just let her go by. What a little gentleman. He is so cute.

He is more aggressive then I thought he would be too at times. If I am cheering him on to get in there and get the ball, if a boy has it, then he goes for it. He hasn't made a goal yet, but the season is still young.

Spring Training... in the Fall?

Yes!!! I have now got myself a great personal trainer. I started on Monday and let me just say... I am SORE today!! But it is so worth it. My trainer is amazing. He is pretty new to being a trainer, yet very fit for his age. He is teaching me so much, about exercising, eating, and just about my life, what really matters to me... what do I really want. I feel so much better about myself already, even though it has only been 2 days. It's that feeling of accomplishment. That feeling of winning. The feeling of getting your life back and knowing that you will have that life for years to come. I have a wonderful family, and husband and 4 amazing little boys that I want to be here for for the rest of my life. I want that to be long and healthy life as well. I want to be more active with my children, and this great man is going to get me to that point. I cannot express how happy and grateful I am for this new opportunity... and the great trainer I have to help me along the way. Oh, and did I mention, my new trainer is my dad!!! And no, I am not brave enough to post before pictures. Maybe when I am ready, I will post after ones. We shall see...

Back to School...

It's back to school time and my boys were very excited for their first day!! Especially Zackary. He loves school. I can't believe he is already in 3rd grade! He likes spending time with his friends and cousins, enjoys math, reading, art and P.E. and music. This year he even gets to learn how to play the recorder. He got a new backpack this year (he needed a larger one to fit more homework), he picked out some new school clothes and shoes (that's my favorite part of back to school, the shopping) and enjoyed picking out his new school supplies. He couldn't wait to meet his new teacher. He has heard a lot about her from me and my sisters. We all had her in Elementary too. I had her for 5th grade. I love her and am very happy that Zackary is in her class.

Ean is in 2nd grade this year and is sort of happy that school has started. He would love it if I was his teacher and he could stay home all the time. But I would not be a very good teacher. I would rather play. He did, however, enjoy the benefits of back to school traditions... new clothes and shoes and supplies. He likes shopping with mom. This year he even got to pick out his very own folder... he of course chose spiderman. He will not have a full-time aid this year in class with him either. We are trying to make him be just like the other kids. So far so good, I guess. He likes recess and music, P.E. and reading. And he is very excited that 2nd grade is when you learn about dinosaurs. Ean LOVES dinosaurs. He has a great teacher as well, the same teacher Zackary had last year and we loved her.

I miss my boys. I can't believe that school has already begun and they are going to be gone for 6 hours every day! I will admit, there are those days when I would give my right arm to have them gone for 6 hours, but not EVERYDAY! I I am excited for them to learn and grow and to see the changes that life has in store for them this coming school year. I know they will do great things and I want them to be happy and enjoy life!!

Camping... in our backyard!!

We didn't get the chance to take the boys camping this summer, so we decided to go camping in our backyard! We had my sister's and their families join in the fun! We recently put grass in our backyard, which really made this experience much nicer... and cleaner!
Zackary slept in his Mickey Mouse single man tent... and was the envy of all the other boys.

Landon had the hardest time once he was asleep. He had trouble getting and staying comfortable. He moved from his sleeping bag to mine a couple of times.

Jeremy wanted his own tent so badly, that we brought out our spiderman pop-up tent for him to use. All better now!!

Ean was out so fast. Very unusual for this kid, too.

We played games, like hide and seek... Can you find Uncle Chuck?

And Red light green light. This was hilarious to watch everybody play.

You have to have s'mores when you go camping... other wise you are just sleeping outside. We LOVE s'mores. We sometimes even have them with Reese's PB cups... yummy!

Jeremy loves to be by the fire and keep warm.

We woke up the next morning bright and early and had a big breakfast to start our Saturday. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, apple cinnamon muffins, juice and ebil skievers. Yummy!!!

The little quirks that make me, me!

What an interesting and fun tag! Let's see...

1. I dance while I eat... whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. I don't know why, but I do.
2. I have to have the TV on while I sleep. I can't fall asleep w/out it.
3. I have to have blankets on me when I sleep. Even if it's 100 degrees!
4. I rearrange my furniture... ALL the time! Sometimes every month or so.
5. I do my best scrapbooking at 2:00 am.
6. I start shopping for Christmas in January!
7. I always have gum. I fear bad breath!
8. I love my boys to have matching outfits. I will search and search until I find something that they all have to match. Then I have to get their pictures taken. It is not easy finding matching clothes for boys, especially with the age range of my boys. I know it sounds kind of girly, but hey, I'm a girl! And for our family pictures every year, we HAVE to match, whether it's color or style. We just have too.
9. I paint my toenalis all the time. I can't stand it when they are not painted. I like pinks in spring and summer, reds and plums in fall and winter. I also do the occasional french tip.
10. I start planning my kids next birthday parties about one month after they happen. I also start buying b-day gifts for my nieces and nephews and siblings in January. I have too, everything is so on sale!

I tag... Erin, Crystal, Tiana, Shalyse & Stephanie B. Can't wait to see how quirky you all are!!
