Primary Temple Trip

Every year our Beacon Hill Ward Primary takes the kids on a trip to the Temple. We are so blessed to have a Temple so close to us. It is only about 25 minutes away. The kids took a walk around the grounds and talked about the temple and some of the symbols and things on the temple... like the Angel Moroni. The first time Jeremy saw him, he said "Mom, who is that man on the temple?" It was so cute.

Then we went inside the waiting area and the Temple President and his wife talked to the kids about the temple and let the kids ask questions about the temple. Each of the kids, and adults, received a picture of the temple to take home. The kids each had a chance to "touch" the outside of the temple as they exited the front doors. They were very reverent that day. I was impressed with their good behavior.

Mommy and her handsome future missionaries... blinded by the beautiful (hot) sun!

Jeremy & his best friend Isaac. Yes, they are the same age. Isaac is very tall, and well, Jeremy, not so much. They are good buddies, it is cute to watch them together.

Landon was having so much fun just being outside, being able to run and laugh. He kept running to the front doors of the temple, then running back to me laughing and yelling - "AAAWWW!!"
All in all, this was a great experience for all of the kids.

What a neat activity! I may have to borrow it for my activity days girls! Oh, how I love the Medford Temple, wish we lived closer to it. Your kiddos are so cute!
