Fort Clatsop

Fort Clatsop was pretty fun. We really enjoyed learning about Lewis & Clark. We watched a movie about their trek to the west coast and who they met along the way. Then we took a little hike to where their canoe landing was. Very neat to see.

This is a statue of Lewis and Clark.

Ean and Uncle Pete inside one of the rooms in the fort.

Jeremy in Lewis and Clark's room in the fort. See their uniforms hanging on the back wall?

Landon just being adorable!!

These are some of the bunks they slept in... none of the beds were very big. Zackary was longer then they were. All in all, a very fun day!!

Fort Stevens

We had a great time here at Fort Stevens... we love all of the history behind it. Seeing all of the old World War 1 and 2 stuff was pretty amazing. There was a little museum there also and it had some items from the Civil War... I love learning about the Civil War and Tim loves learnigng about WW2. Zackary is pretty into history also, so this was a fun day for all of us! The boys had a blast going through the old cement rooms and seeing what things once were like. The guns were pretty amazing too. What little boy wouldn't want to see those!!

Here they are atop one of the forts... they are pretty cool. Camoflauged by the ground around them... they are open on one side and under ground on the other, as to not be seen by the enemy. This huge round hole is where a huge gun/cannon was placed. Pretty cool stuff!

My grandpa told me that this was a WW2 jeep. The boys thought this was pretty awesome!

Ean liked all of these cool doors, although many of them didn't open anymore. Not for visitors at least. The ones that were open, we explored...

Zackary and Ean atop a lookout tower. Can you see on the backside of the fort here that the ground comes right up to the top... On the ground behind the fort, they have reenactments of wars past. I would like to see that someday.

These old doors are just so cool looking... this one is to the "Tool Room."

Another pretty cool weapon... Seriously, these are some huge guns!

Running around in front of the fort. This place was huge!!

Here is one of the guns/cannons inside that circular hole from an earlier photo.

Yet another large gun/cannon. This one actually faces the ocean and the lookout tower faces the ocean too. Had to keep safe from enemy ships!

This is a smaller cannon just outside the museum.
We had a blast here and there was so much more to see that we will have to make another trip here to see it all!!

Jeremy's Miracle...

Jeremy had been praying... actually praying... everyday for a little sister. We thought we were good with our 4 kiddos, then one day found out we were expecting #5!! We were excited, surprised, anxious... you name it! Jeremy was overjoyed and exclaimed, "My sister is finally coming!" We told him that we still wouldn't know for a few months if it was going to be a boy or a girl, but he just "knew" it.
The day I had my ultrasound, we found out it was going to be a girl. I looked at the picture and with one swipe, I could see it was indeed a girl. We were SHOCKED! to say the least. We went home that night and told the boys they were going to have a sister... Jeremy knew it!! Needless to say, he LOVES her!!

Is this not the SWEETEST THING EVER!!!

Ean's Baptism

My little boy was baptized back in March. I am SO proud of him. We have been waiting to see if and when this day would come... and SO happy it came!! He is such a good boy, even with his everyday struggles. I know he will do great things!! Congradulations Ean!!!

Aren't they handsome...

Ok, so this was way back in April... but just look at how HANDSOME these little boys are!!!
Such wonderfully good little gentlemen... I am truely blessed!!

Sweet Baby Breena...

It's a bird... It's a plane... no, no, It's super-Landon?!!

I'm sorry, but is this not the CUTEST THING EVER!!!!! I love 2 year olds!!! He is so adorable. And it is days like these that get me through the "other" days... I love this little guy!!

The First of Sabreena's 3 White Dresses...

My beautiful daughter...

I asked my cousin if she would take some pictures of my baby before she gets too big... Here are a few that I love...

She is such a good baby. She wakes up only once or twice a night to eat and goes right back to sleep... she will hang out and just be content while I do chores or something... She is ok to let her brothers hold/kiss/hug/snuggle her... She Loves to cuddle which is awesome... she has been smiling so much in her sleep, I LOVE this... She doesn't mind riding in the car... she loves being carried in the carrier... I love when she snuggles herself on my chest/neck... she has the most perfect lips... she is weighing 8lb 4 oz now and 22" long... still wearing newborn clothes... her hair is really lightening up... I can't fit her tiny feet into shoes yet, can't wait for that day... she is just SO perfect!! I love it!!

Sabreena Lynn has arrived!!!

Our baby girl arrived Monday May 18th at 3:59 p.m. She weighed 7lbs. 8oz. and was 20" long. She is ADORABLE!!! She slept all through the night (from 11:00-ish to about 6:00am) her first night home... which mommy loved!! We shall see how she does tonight. Everything went very well in her delivery to our family. Her big brothers love her... yet Zackary is still a little unsure of the girl thing! But I know he will come around soon. He has even held her already, so that is good. We joke with him about having to have tea parties w/her and it is pretty funny to see his reactions... I know he will love her and be a great big brother, just as he is to all the others. There is a reason he was our first!! Ean and Jeremy cannot get enough of her. They are always running to wash their hands to hold her. It is so cute. My little baby Landon, who now is a big brother, loves holding and kissing her. So CUTE!! We will post more pictures later!!

Time has come and gone so quickly...

Time has flown by this past couple of months. We are very busy and thus been putting off making new posts. Here is a little update and pictures will follow this weekend... hopefully!!

March 6th - Ean turned 8 and just a couple weeks later, he was baptized!! We were very excited and proud of him in this decision. He has grown and changed so much since that day. What an amazing little boy he is.

April 4th - Zackary turned 9 already! He is getting to old for me... :( He is up to my shoulder in height now and loving every minute of it. He will pass my mom and sisters really quickly and he loves that!

April 23rd - My handsome hubby and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary that day. I cannot believe that 10 years has already passed. It is crazy!! We didn't travel anywhere, seeing as how I was 8 months pregnant, but we did have a fun evening out. It was nice to spend a few hours with him. We rarely have the chance to do that with 4 kiddos and a 6 day per week job. It was really fun!

May - the boys had their jog - o - thon at school. It is a fundraiser the school does every year and the boys really look forward to running (they don't get that from me that's for sure!). They go out and get pledges from friends and neighbors and then run laps around the track. This year Zackary ran 10 laps, Ean 12 and Jeremy 10. Landon and I went to support and cheer them on and he ended up running about 100 meters or so. It was pretty cute.

Soccer and baseball season have also begun. Zackary is playing soccer again this spring and loving it. Their team is so far undefeated!! Which is great because last season they lost every game. Definately different this year. He is doing better and learning more skills... but mainly he just loves getting out there and having fun! And it shows... Jeremy is playing baseball... coachpitch that is. He loves it. His coach is pretty great, he has been his coach for baseball twice and basketball once so he knows us pretty well. That makes it fun. He and his cousin Spencer are on the same team which has been nice for Heidi and I when we can't make a game or a practice. I have only missed one game because of he and Zackary overlapping, so that is amazing! We are at practices for both boys twice a week and games ALL DAY on Saturday, expecially with my other nephew playing t-ball. It makes for a crazy weekend... EVERY weekend. But it is really fun.

May 7th - I had my last and final DR visit yesterday. I am dialated to a 3, 50% efaced and the baby is at negative 2. We are in progress. Things are actually happening. We called the hospital and set up the date and time. I am going in on Monday May 18th at 6:45 to have a baby!!! Unless she decides to show up her brothers and actually come early... and on her own. I can only hope! I am done being pregnant. I want to be able to put shoes on, wear clothes that fit, start my workout again, see my feet, SLEEP... all the things I miss. Only 10 more days to go!! Wow, I really need to choose a name and soon...

All in all, things are going well... I hope to post pix soon. We have had our computer fail on us in March for about 4 weeks, then our moniter died. We obviously have a new one now but that wasn't any fun!!

This is getting harder and harder...

Ok, so we thought we had a name for our little bun... but the other night we were talking and it seems that neither of us feels the name to be, well, comfortable anymore. It just doesn't feel like the right name. Even though I still love the name, it just doesn't feel right. So we are back to square one. I still love the name Gwendolynn Loraine, but Tim doesn't. I also like Miranda Lynn... he is not saying anything about that one. I am writing to say that we need some ideas... some cute, pretty, girly names... Any ideas!!!

Needing some help...

We think we have a name chosen for our new little girl (although it still isn't 100%), but would like some thoughts from others... We both (which is rare) like the names Bree and Ellee, but I can't have two of my kids with the same first innitial (we already have Ean) and our last name is so short that I need the name to be longer... so I thought of Brielle. We both like the name. We want something pretty, uncommon, but not wierd, and we could call her Bree or Ellee for short, if we wanted to. I have named all of my kids after someone special to me and want to do the same for this one too. The middle names I have thought of, because they are family names, are Lynn, Loraine and Kathleen.
What do you think sounds the best??
Brielle Lynn
Brielle Loraine
Brielle Kathleen??
